Canon Zoom Lens EF-S 18-55mm
Well I have recently entered the world of dslr photography, I have been using a Kodak C875 for some time and have loved it. It's simple works and take great pictures. I have recently purchased a canon eos 400d. And while I'm happy with the camera the lens leaves a LOT to be desired.
Thats not to say the lens doesn't work. But maybe I am expecting too much from it. I must say though its the old model that, looking at reviews around the net has a lot of problems and I tend to agree. Its certainly no where near as sharp as I would like it.... AND TRUST ME, I'M NO PHOTOGRAPHY EXPERT. Nor is it an IS model. So this is no doubt an outside "lots of light" type lens.. And i've been using it inside/dull outside conditions as of recently..
So i must say as a lens i'm dissapointed with it.. Given what I know and see this camera is capable of.
I'm looking at getting a nifty fifty in the near future and I'm sure I will nott be disapointed with that.
